I will introduce how to cook delicious Hayashi Rice without using commercially available roux.
Personally, it is so delicious that you can no longer use commercially available roux.
ingredients for 3 or 4 people
- Beef sliced meat 200g
Salt and pepper
Soft flour 2 tablespoons
Cut canned tomato 1 can
Rice oil (even salad oil) 1/2 tablespoon
1/3 cup of red wine (about 70ml)
Nakano sauce 3 tbsp
Salt appropriate amount
1 small green peas (canned)
How to cook
1. Sprinkle the beef with salt and pepper.
Onions are sliced 2-3 mm thick.
Put beef and onion in separate plastic bags, pour flour and rub lightly.
2. Put butter and oil in a pan and add onion.
When the onions become soft, add the beef.
3. When the color of the meat changes by about 80%, add a tomato can.
Boil for 5 minutes, add red wine, bring to a boil, and add medium concentrated sauce.
4. Taste and adjust the taste with salt.
If the taste is too dark due to boiling, adjust the taste by adding water little by little.
